Thank you all for your wishes on the 38th Birthday. It was overwhelming to see the response and I received phone calls, SMSes, Whats App Messages, Facebook Messages, Tweets, Facebook Notifications among others. In all this melee I just received one card from Archana and Virika.
Looks like old tech can still be used as a differentiated offering in our ultra connected modern world.
Some thoughts on this wonderful day
1) As I get older the body gets slower but the brain is sharper than ever, Now I fee people in this age have the right blend of experience and insight and still have not lost sight of their instincts, golden age to be in. Most successful entrepreneurs hit big just before 40 and this is a great reflection of that feeling
2) I feel I still have about 50 years left of a fully functional life, so in a way I am close to an half way stage…so many mountains still to climb, Oceans to swim across, so the focus has to be on physical health. I have decided to take my gym routine more serious and walks the necessary steps a day tracked by my Jawbone Up fitness tracker
3) In the recent Akshay Kumar starer “Baby” Shulka played by Anupam Kher asks Rana Daggubati’s character how many hours does he spend in the gym, and when he gets the reply 4 hours then he advices him to spend one hour playing Sudoku. In the end we have to exercise the brain, I have seen too many cases of Alzheimer and other diseases creeping into the aging workforce and one has to guard against it..
In the end thank you once again for the wishes and looking forward to another great year…
